Nov 18, 2024 · glen island, long island, and narrow island are separate campgrounds located on lake george. Lake george was created at the end of the last ice age when glacial deposits. Most dec campgrounds also have day use areas for the public to enjoy. See the individual dec campgrounds for the nightly rates and amenities at each campground.
