I left 11 as a foreman to start in 18 as an electrical mechanic trainee. I'm also in the bc for local 11 at eti! I waited 2 years lol. They spend a large portion of the time boosting about said years and going on and on about solidarity with no real discussions about what there plans are to make our local. Spoke to multiple people and a few who are on the application committee that said it’s not a disadvantage if you don’t have a background in construction or electrical.
